Day one of the festival saw vyakhan by Dr Amar Adke who spoke on Shivcharitra- a national pride and many other topics. The well-known Shivchatra Kala Mahotsav in Kolhapur that commenced recently saw a plethora of activities. Along with this, not only youngsters but children majorly took part in the mardani khel that enthralled the audience. The event included powadas, mardani khel, vyakhane, shashtra pradarshan, exhibition on ancient paintings and art were some of the attractions at the festival.
