Summary:
It was a colourful day for the citizens of Kolhapur as they celebrated Shivrajya abhishek diwas in the city amidst merriment and joy. Donned in saffron phetas and carrying saffron flags, the rally had a huge statue of Shivaji Maharaj who was covered in garlands. Children were dressed up in mini versions of Shivaji Maharaj and walked along the rally. Youngsters, devotees, music artists participated in the rally which took place on the main streets of the city. Traditional halgi players put forth a mesmerising performance and the warkaris in participation sang devotional songs..
