To curb the pollution, residents of Kolhapur have taken various initiatives and recently conducted tree plantation drive. With aim to make the city of Kolhapur a greener haven, the members of Rotary club of Gargi and Maharashtra Times had conducted tree plantation drive. The team decided to not only limit their work to the park but also conduct tree plantation drives in remaining gardens of the city. The Gargi Club has also taken up green city initiative.
