Summary:
While the world is struggling with environmental issues, pollution is one of the major aspects hampering environment. Ishan Chaudhari of Energy policy institute informed students about the Star Rating program and how it is useful for common person to understand quantity of pollutant by industry from particular areas. Considering this, Shivaji University has organized various programs for students recently. The program aimed at informing students about the Star Rating Program of Maharashtra Pollution Control board which helps common person to understand the level of pollutants in the air.The program was organized by Environment science department of Shivaji University in association with the Udyog Sanvad Kendra and Energy Policy Institute of Chicago University..
