KOLHAPUR: The civic administration faced the wrath of the citizens and corporators, who alleged improper management of water supply.The alternate-day water supply is in place since last Friday and on the fourth day, the citizens started feeling acute scarcity. The repair work to fix the broken line will be carried out on Tuesday, water supply department officials said.Suresh Kulkarni, chief hydraulic engineer of KMC, said, “We have deployed adequate number of water tankers. We had asked officials of Rajarampuri divisional ward office to send water tankers, however it did not arrive. It may take additional couple of days to complete the repair work and the alternate-day supply would be extended.Citizens were left inconvenienced owing to the delays in water tankers reaching some places..
