KOLHAPUR: Parents of children studying in city-based schools have been requested to accompany their wards for the ongoing state-wide measles and rubella (MR) immunisation drive that kick-started on Tuesday in as many as 310 government and private schools across the city.The Kolhapur Municipal Corporation (KMC) has targeted over 1.06 lakh children between the age group of four and 15 years for the drive. Also, children from 9 months till three years who do not go to school will be given the shots when the drive will be conducted in different localities.“Awareness campaigns are being organised across the city and the district to make sure all the eligible kids get the required medical care,” an official said..
