Pawar to discuss strategy with allies on April 2

Kolhapur: Nationalist Congress Party chief Sharad Pawar is going to make his presence felt for the nomination filling of sitting Satara MP Udayanraje Bhonsale on April 2.Later in the evening, Pawar will arrive in Kolhapur and discuss the campaign strategy with workers of the Congress, NCP, Peasants and Workers Party and other allied local outfits. Mahadik and the NCP are planning to hold a grand public meeting, which Pawar and senior leaders of the Congress are expected to attend. On the same day, NCP candidate Dhananjay Mahadik will file his nomination for the Kolhapur Lok Sabha (LS) constituency. NCP had played a move to induct Patil’s father and educationist D Y Patil to force the Congress MLC to support Mahadik. His nomination filing event will be a simple one as no rally and show of strength will be held, as Mahadik revealed the same after a meeting with party workers..
