The capacity of Warana dam is 27.52ft and it is filled to its capacity.Koyna dam, one of the major dams in south Maharashtra with a storage capacity of 105TMC, is also full to its capacity and 9,297 cusec water is being discharged from the dam. The district administration has issued high alert to the people living in villages and towns on the banks of rivers and instructed them to be ready to relocate in case of an emergency.
