Case lodged against Dilip Ghosh for ‘attempting to incite violence’

The police on Thursday lodged a case against BJP state president Dilip Ghosh for “attempting to incite violence” during his recent speech in Keshiari area of West Midnapore. They will not be pardoned since they are policemen.”“We have initiated a case against Dilip Ghosh and the organisers of the public meeting. His speeches will incite violence.” A case has been lodged under sections 505 (intent to incite violence against a group of persons or community, 506 (criminal intimidation) and 120B (criminal conspiracy) of the IPC,” said a senior police officer.
