Kolkata: A section of students from Presidency University staged a demonstration in the academic building ofthe varsity on Monday demanding publication of merit list for admission to Science stream. They also wanted reduction of counselling fee, which has been raised to Rs 500 from Rs 100. The counselling fees was raised from Rs 100 to Rs 500 last year and the students had protested against the decision. The results of the entrance test for seeking admission at undergraduate-level was announced on Saturday but no merit list was published.
