Kolkata: A man killed his two pet dogs and later committed suicide by shooting himself at Joynagar in South 24-Parganas early on Thursday morning. According to sources, early on Wednesday morning, residents ofNarayanitala, Chowdhuripara, in Joynagar heard sound of firing from the Roy Chowdhuri family's house. When some of them rushed there they saw a person identified as Subhankar Roy Chowdhuri (47) lying dead in front of the main door and a double barrel gun was lying beside his body.
