Kolkata: An undertrial prisoner, identified as Raju Mondal alias Golam Hussain Mondal, escaped from R G Kar Medical College and Hospital on Monday night. He was in judicial custody at Dum Dum Correctional Home since last one year. Due to some health problems, he was recently admitted to R G Kar Hospital. After chief controller, Dum Dum Correctional Home lodged a complaint, police started search operation in and around the hospital.
