SER to replace rakes with modern LHB coaches

Kolkata: In a bid to provide comfortable journey to the passengers, the South Eastern Railway (SER) has decided to convert two rakes of Kriyayoga Express with most sophisticated and modern LHB (Linke Hofmann Busch) coaches replacing the existing conventional coaches. This apart, there will be an increase of 120 reserved capacity in each trip," said Bidhan Chandra, public relations officer, SER. LHB coaches are the passenger coaches of Indian Railways. Kriyayoga Express is an Express train belonging to South Eastern Railway zone. Meanwhile, the second foot over bridge at Santragachi railway station will see its inauguration before Puja this year..
