CM visits Dattapur village lends ear to grievances of residents

Kolkata: Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee went to Dattapur village situated at the Bengal-Odisha border on Wednesday and distributed clothes and sweets among the people. She listened to their grievances and instructed the district magistrate of East Midnapore Partha Ghosh to take necessary action to build houses for them. People were very happy to have the Chief Minister among them. Sishir Adhikari (MP), Subrata Mukherjee, state minister of Panchayat and Rural Development and Suvendu Adhikari, state Transport minister, enjoyed tea served by her. It may be mentioned that Banerjee is an expert cook and earlier, she used to prepare special dishes to treat her party leaders and workers..
