Kolkata: Within just two days of Kolkata Zonal Unit of Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) seizing Amphetamines commonly known as 'yaba' in tablet form worth Rs 2 lakh, Special Task Force (STF) of Kolkata Police seized 'yaba' worth 80 lakh from Maidan area on Friday morning. Smelling a rat, police detained all four of the passenger, including the driver and took them to Maidan police station. After the car's body panels were opened police found huge quantity of yaba tablets in a concealed manner. Esha Ali, Shalaodin of Thoubal in Manipur and Sagar Dey, Uttam Sen of Nagaland were carryingtwo lakh 'yaba' tablets weighing about 23.3 kg worth Rs 80lakh.
