Summary:

Kolkata: The Calcutta Medical College and Hospital (CMCH) has given a fresh lease of life to an 18-year-old youth from Murshidabad, who had been suffering from brain hemorrhage. The doctors at the hospital conducted a critical surgery to extract the blood from his brain. It was difficult for the doctors to conduct the surgery as the patient had already turned unconscious due to bleeding. The neurosurgeons took a risk and suggested that they would perform the surgery with a constant supply of oxygen to his brain. During the surgery, the doctors removed the blood from his brain and also started administering steroids as a treatment for leukemia..
