Kolkata: Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar will preside over the meeting of the academic court of Jadavpur University on Friday. This is for the firsttime in the history of Jadavpur University that theChancellor of the University will preside over the meeting of the court. Snehamanju Basu, registrar of the University, said the Governor was invited to attend the meeting and he readily accepted the invitation. There was wordy duel between the minister and the students which led to the physical abuse of Supriyo.
