Constitutional heads acting as saffron mouthpieces Mamata

Summary:

Kolkata: Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Thursday came down heavily upon Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari for recommending President's Rule in the state after the Assembly polls and said some people holding constitutional posts are acting like "mouthpieces of BJP". Her ire was also evidently directed against Bengal Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar, though Banerjee refrained from taking any names. "I generally do not comment on constitutional posts, but a few people (Governors) are acting just like BJP's mouthpieces. The Central government should work as per constitutional provisions and the state should also do the same. The people of the state feel that he is acting more like a political party representative than a Governor.".
