JeM threat ER conducts meet to boost security

Kolkata: Eastern Railway conducted a meeting on the safety and security of passengers at Fairlie Place on Tuesday. The meeting comes after a letter, purportedly sent by Pakistan-based terror group Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM), was received by Rohtak Railway station officials in September threatening to blow up several railway stations. Suneet Sharma, General Manager, Eastern Railway held a high-level meeting at ER Headquarters, Fairlie Place today (December 3). Principal officers and DRMs were present in the meeting, said an ER official.
