Assembly adjourned for 2 days as Bills yet to get Guv nod

Kolkata: Bengal state Assembly has been adjourned till December 6 as there is no business in the House for the next two days. In the concluding session on Tuesday, Speaker Biman Banerjee said some Bills which have been sent to Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar for his assent have not come to the Assembly yet. It was learnt that a Bill relating to SC/ST has not come to the Assembly as the Governor is yet to assent the Bill. The Governor House in its press statement, however, claimed that there is nodelay whatsoever by the Governor. It has been gathered from media projections that theWest Bengal State Legislative Assembly has come to be adjourned for two days as the Bills which were scheduled to be placed could not receive the 'nod of the Governor' according to the Speaker of the WBLA Biman Banerjee," reads the press statement of the Governor House..
