Kolkata: The Special Task Force (STF) of Kolkata Police has nabbed a person with a huge amount of US and Indian currency notes on Thursday night, from outside Dum Dum Metro station. According to sources, on Thursday afternoon police came to know that a person would come to Dum Dum area with a huge amount of foreign currency to hand it over to someone. Acting on the tip-off, a police team was deployed along with the source outside of the Metro station. At around 7:30 pm, the source identified a person coming out of the Metro station with a bag. There cops searched the bag and found 32,000 US dollar worth approximately Rs 22 lakh and Indian currency worth Rs 14.72 lakh..
