Summary:

Kolkata: The Regional Meteorological Centre in Alipore on Friday predicted rainfall in North Bengal districts in the next 48 hours, due to the impact of western disturbances. Most of the South Bengal districts would stay dry but there may be light rainfall in some places. It would rain in various parts of North Bengal in the next two days due to the impact of western disturbances that have already weakened. There will be no major rise and fall in the temperature in the state in the next 48 hours," a weather official said on Friday. This had resulted in preventing the steady flow of northern wind that brings the cold air to South Bengal districts from the Himalayan region..
