Kolkata: Asansol Heritage Research Group will approach the state government and Charles Correa Foundation to preserve the only heritage structure designed by the internationally famous architect in Bengal. Steps have been taken to preserve all documents related to the design and construction of the building, Sen Raleigh Polytechnic that was later rechristenedas Asansol Polytechnic, at the heritage archive of Kazi Nazrul University.
