Bengal Loses two Veteran Actors on The Same Day: Chandrashekhar, Swatilekha Sengupta

Bengal Today has seen the worst loss as it loses two veteran actors on the same day.

The veteran Chandrashekhar,  more commonly known by the mononym Chandrashekhar is no more, age  97.

The news was confirmed by CINTAA in the early hours of June 16, 2021.

He is mainly known for his role as Arya Sumant in Ramanand Sagar`s Ramayan.

Saddened at the demise of veteran actor Shri Chandrashekhar Vaidya.

Chandrashekhar was survived by his son Ashok Chandra Shekhar who is a well-known producer. 

With carrying this tragedy, Bengal was loaded with another veteran demise of Swatilekha Sengupta age of 71 in a Kolkata hospital on Wednesday afternoon.

She was suffering from kidney ailments, her daughter Sohini told news agency PTI.

Saddened at the passing of actor and theatre personality Swatilekha Sengupta.
