In a poignant celebration of spirituality and service, the Government of India marked the 125th anniversary of the Ramakrishna Mission by unveiling a commemorative coin and postage stamp.

The distinguished event took place on Wednesday, 27 December 2023, at the Abhedananda Convention Centre in Belur Math.

The release ceremony, graced by Sri Arjun Ram Meghwal, Minister of State (I/C) for Law & Justice, and Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs and Culture, witnessed the unveiling of a symbolically rich coin and stamp.

These artifacts serve as a testament to the enduring legacy and profound impact of the Ramakrishna Mission.

Swami Suvirananda, General Secretary of the Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission, Belur Math, added spiritual grace to the occasion with his presence.

The ceremony was further attended by Sri Rajat Paul, Chief General Manager of India Government Mint, Kolkata, and Sri Sanjiv Ranjan, IPoS, Postmaster General of Kolkata Region.

The coin, a miniature masterpiece, bears intricate designs reflecting the mission`s philosophy and its relentless pursuit of spiritual and social upliftment.

It serves as a tangible representation of the profound teachings and principles that have guided the Ramakrishna Mission for over a century.
