Sitapur administration zeroes in on 50 wild dogs

LUCKNOW: After a detailed probe into repeated dog attacks over the last two weeks, Sitapur administration claimed that there were around 50 wild dogs that were perpetrating the attacks on children. "Some NGOs have joined the administration in counselling villagers to send their children to schools. "The fear of the killer dogs has not abated though as people are extremely watchful and are taking all precautions. "We have roped in dog catchers and are trying to capture as many dogs as we can. We will be having summer vacation from May 19," said district inspector of schools Devki Singh..
