Bareilly trader detained by ATS let off after probe

ATS officials detained the trader for questioning but let him go by the evening on not finding any suspicious transactions and documents.ATS sources initiated the action after a terror suspect arrested by special cell of Delhi police had revealed the name of a 40-year-old Muslim in connection with an incident.IG (ATS) Asim Arun told TOI that the man was picked up early in the morning from Bareilly following some specific inputs. "He was interrogated by us but nothing suspicious was found or recovered, hence, he was let-off with full dignity," said Arun.ATS sources further informed that when the trader was confronted with the terror suspect in Delhi via video-conferencing, the latter said that he was not the person he had referred to in interrogation.ATS officials said that the trader had suffered heavy losses in business sometime back and had taken loan to start a new venture..
