LUCKNOW: In yet another case of cyber fraud, Rs 2.13 lakh were siphoned off from a farmer's bank account in Fatehpur tehsil of Barabanki near Lucknow.Initially, cops had a tough time in investigating the case as the victim, identified as Arvind Singh, denied of having shared his ATM pin or bank account details with any one.Following a detailed probe into the crime, police detained the farmer's engineer son who broke during interrogation and confessed the crime.As per the police, the accused Himanshu Patel, who holds an engineering diploma and works for a private firm, used his father's ATM card details to create a Paytm account and withdrew the amount in several transactions.The theft came to light when Singh went to his bank branch to withdraw money from his account..
