LUCKNOW: A woman tried to immolate herself in front of Lok Bhawan under Hazratganj police station on Tuesday over a land dispute by dousing herself with with kerosene . The police personnel posted in the high-security zone rushed towards her and snatched the kerosene bottle. The attempt was, however, foiled by police who acted promptly.The incident took place at around 2.30pm when a woman identified as Aasma Khatun (32) reached in front of Lok Bhawan with a bottle and poured kerosene over herself.
