Air to remain very poor for two more months

LUCKNOW: The poor air quality in the city prevailing for the past around two months is likely to remain unchanged for another two months.It was on October 12 when Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) data showed Air Quality Index (AQI) of Lucknow to be 141 - moderate air quality. "There will be no relief from bad air for next two months as the weather factor will further deteriorate the air quality. It was followed by Aliganj, Talkatora and Lucknow University with PM 2.5 concentration recorded 252 and 210 micrograms respectively. However, since October 13, the AQI has been above 300 - very poor category - for 47 days and between 200-300 - poor category - for 11 days.
