LUCKNOW: Lucknow University has issued notices to 53 affiliated colleges for not holding elections for their management committees for the past many years. Besides, 12 colleges had not sent any details of their management committees to the university.“Just as LU’s excutive council, management committees are the apex decision making bodies of colleges. The university had warned these colleges to form the management committees by December 20 or face derecognition.The list includes AP Sen Memorial Girls’ Degree College, Khun Khun Ji Girls’ Degree College and Rajat Girls’ Degree College. Therefore, colleges have to ensure that same members do not hold a post for years in the management committees and elections are held every three or five years as per the university rules.
