Summary:

However, SBSP chief and UP minister Om Prakash Rajbhar on Friday, said, “Neither any party delegation nor I will take part in BJP’s event. They should tell how many youths of fraternity got jobs in railways.” VARANASI: BJP’s UP ally Suheldeo Bhartiya Samaj Party (SBSP), dominated by the Rajbhars , will boycott Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s rally at Ghazipur on December 29 in which he will release a postal stamp on the community’s icon Maharaja Suheldeo.BJP called the rally to woo the support of the Rajbhar fraternity. When they (BJP) never felt it necessary to invite me on the dais of any event of the PM in Varanasi, Ghazipur or Azamgarh in the past four years, then what is the need for joining them in Ghazipur.”Terming the proposed event as a BJP bid to mislead the fraternity to seek their votes, he said that the saffron party is continuing the trend of more than seven decades.“We had joined hands with BJP before the 2014 parliamentary elections following an agreement that 27% reservation of OBC will be divided into three categories — ‘Pichhada’, ‘Ati Pichhada’ and ‘Sarvadhik Pichhada’ — to ensure a few castes are not availing benefits of OBC quota,” he said.“The other agreement was made for improving facilities and academic activities in primary schools of the state, where 1.77 lakh children of poor only are studying,” he added.Rajbhar alleged, “BJP never showed interest to work as per those agreements as entire OBC quota is still being availed by the creamy layer while primary schoolchildren are still bound to sit on floor instead of chair and table.”“Before calling PM to release a postal stamp on Maharaja Suheldeo, the BJP-led government at the Centre had also started a Suheldeo Express train,” he said questioning, “Has this train benefited the fraternity?.
