Gathbandhan door closed BJP allies now mull options

Apna Dal has two factions — one led by Krishna Patel and and other, Apna Dal (Sonelal), led by Krishna’s daughter and Union minister Anupriya Patel.Anupriya has accused the BJP of not giving adequate respect to allies and has been boycotting programmes of the NDA government in protest. LUCKNOW: With SP-BSP combine leaving just two seats for other parties, the focus will now shift on restive allies of BJP like the Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party (SBSP) and Apna Dal, which have been arm-twisting the saffron party and dropping hints of joining the grand alliance. Mahagathbandhan is yet to happen.”The SBSP reiterated its stand that it has put BJP on a 100-day notice to implement the social justice committee report before Lok Sabha elections or else it will solo in 2019 polls.
