VARANASI: An RSS functionary and principal of an intermediate college, Suresh Yadav (62), was shot dead by some unknown miscreants during morning walk in Robertsganj area of Sonbhadra district on Saturday. In view of Lok Sabha polls, he had been given the responsibility of establishing coordination between RSS and BJP workers. Yadav sustained multiple bullet injuries and died on the spot.Sonbhadra SP Salmantaj Jafertaj Patil and other officials reached there after getting information. An FIR has been lodged against a local resident and two others under section 302 (murder) of IPC.
