Lucknow police to attach Ex-minister in SP govt Azmat Ali's Property worth 254 crores

Azmat Ali and his son Iqbal are the owners of Career Medical College in Madianv, Lucknow.

Lucknow Police Commissioner DK Thakur issued its order on Monday.

Both are facing charges of forgery, gang formation and acquiring illegal properties and taking possession of government land and cases are also going on in all these cases.

Police Commissioner DK Thakur said that on July 4, 2020, Inspector Vipin Kumar Singh had registered a case under the UP Gangster Act against Azmat Ali and son Iqbal, resident of Gaila village of Madianv.

Both were accused of misappropriating crores of rupees by illegally occupying government land.

In the same case, on Monday, Police Commissioner DK Thakur has ordered the confiscation of movable and immovable property worth Rs 2 billion 54 crore 45 lakh 2 thousand 951 of Azmat and Iqbal under Section 14(1) of the Gangster Act.

This action has been taken in Ghaila, Allupur and Mutkipur of Madianv.
