UP allows reopening of schools with 50% attendance from August 16, colleges & universities from Sept 1

A decision in this regard was taken in a meeting with Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.

All the schools of the Secondary Education Department in the state will be opened from August 15.

Classes will be started in schools from August 16 with half the capacity.

At the same time, the process of admission to undergraduate level classes in colleges and universities will be started from August 5.

Classes will be started from September 1 in all higher educational institutions.
