UP CM for a Mela Authority in Allahabad for Ardhkumbha 2019

LUCKNOW: The Uttar Pradesh government may come up with a full time authority to hold fairs and festivals in Allahabad.Floating the idea here on Friday in a meeting to plan for Ardhkumbha 2019, chief minister Yogi Adityanath delegated the responsibility to commissioner of Allahabad division to evaluate the feasibility of the authority. He also said that it should be ensured that pilgrims don't have to walk for more than eight kilometers.The CM also directed officials to study Nagpur model of generating power from the water used in sewerage treatment plants. Officials in the Allahabad administration have prepared a plan worth of Rs 3,460 crore to raise the ardhkumbh mega city.Talking a look at the details, the CM said that tent city, spread across a radium of 30-kilometer should have proper entry and exit roads and traffic management plan so that the crowd could be controlled in case of a rush..
