The deceased has been identified as Gurmukh Singh (35), who was living with his family at his in-laws’ house at Moga at present. The deceased had reportedly fallen in bad company after which his in-laws took him and his family along to Moga. The Sadar police handed over the body to his family after conducting proceedings under Section 174 of the CrPC. Gurmukh, along with his wife and two sons, had been living at his in-laws’ place for a long time..
