JALANDHAR: Four low intensity blasts took place inside Maqsoodan police station a little before 8 PM on Friday. Incidentally Punjab DGP Suresh Arora was in the city when the blasts took place.As the blasts took place police personnel rushed out of the police station. He termed it a mischief and held that only forensic team would confirm that what was used for these low intensity explosions.Notably, Maqsoodan police station has also busted quite a few drug rackets in the recent past. While it could not be clear how did the blasts happen but police officials held that some explosive substance was thrown inside the police station at different places.
