LUDHIANA: As many as 10 city girls have secured their place in the Punjab baseball team for the forthcoming sub-junior national baseball championship which is to be held at Pali Marwar, Rajasthan, from September 21 to 25.Punjab baseball association members have released the final list of the players in which captain Amanjot Kaur, vice captain Sandeep Pal Kaur, along with Krishma, Komaljeet Kaur, Anmolpreet Kaur, Harmanpreet Kaur , Tannu Kumari, Gagandeep Kaur, Pooja and Soni, would be part of the Punjab team. The names of the players are captain Jaskaranveer Singh, Tanvir Singh, Keshav Chugh, Gurwinder Singh and Dilpreet Singh.Speaking on the occasion, Harbir Singh Gill, president of district baseball association, said, “After passing through several parameters, finally 10 city girls and five boys have secured their placed in the Punjab teams for the 27th sub-junior national badminton championship..
