Ludhiana: In a show of anger against a big cycle manufacturing company for not clearing Rs 30 crore dues for the past three years, a large number of cycle parts manufacturers from Ludhiana burnt the effigies of company owners outside the office of United Cycle and Parts Manufacturers Association (UCPMA) on Saturday.Alleging that the company had played a fraud with innocent businessmen, UCPMA members and office-bearers of other business associations shouted slogans against the company owners, before lighting up effigies.UCPMA president Inderjit Singh Navyug said: “All our requests to the owners of company to pay back Rs30 crore to small industrialists of Ludhiana had fallen on deaf ears.
