PATIALA: A two member team of National Green Tribunal (NGT) on Friday conducted an inspection in Patiala and reviewed the progress of establishment of solid waste management plant in the city. The team also visited some sites where first of kind projects including door-to-door garbage collection and underground bins project in the city.The team pointed out several improvements are needed in some projects. The team checked if directions of the NGT were being followed by the corporation or not.The team members comprised NGT chairperson Rajwant Sandhu and Dr Puran Singh, joint director, Swachh Bharat mission.
