One can now adopt cows at government gaushala in Ludhiana

In a bid to connect more people with this gaushala so that the cows can be taken care of properly, now people can adopt cows in this gaushala by paying either monthly or annually.Additional deputy commissioner (development) Dr Shena Aggarwal said that at present, there are around 300 cows, who do not give milk, in the government gaushala. She said that green fodder, husk, medicines and feed is required so that proper care of these cows can be ensured. LUDHIANA: The Punjab government is running a government gaushala at village Burj Powat here in Tehsil Samrala of the district. This gaushala is being run by the District Animal Welfare Society with the support of Dhyan Foundation.
