Station’s multiple entry points may be sealed for luggage scanner

Otherwise, it will be difficult for us to run them properly.”Ludhiana railway station director Abhinav Singla said: “I have given directions to the engineering section to prepare a proposal regarding the construction of boundary walls and sealing unmanned entries, and send it to divisional authorities for sanction of the work.” Ludhiana: Railway security forces have been struggling to manage the working of the newly installed luggage scanner at the main entrance of the city railway station, as they are multiple unmanned entries to the station, from where thousands of unauthorized travellers and vendors enter the premises.For the smooth functioning of the luggage scanner, railway security forces have conducted a meeting with the engineering section, and asked them to seal all unmanned entries and construct a boundary wall, so that passengers can make use of only the main gate for entry and exit..
