The residents today gave a representation to the Director, Village and Panchayat Development, Punjab, on the issue through the local Block Development and Panchayat Officer. The residents said some persons were not letting any development work take place in the area due to which all were suffering. “Today, while giving the representation, arguments took place as the new and old panches gathered at the office. Politics must not come in the way of development and proper action should be taken against the guilty,” rued the residents..
