Tribune News ServiceLudhiana, July 15The Municipal Corporation launched a plantation drive along Buddha Nullah at Haibowal on Monday. The civic body planted 260 saplings along the nullah. The drive was inaugurated in the presence of Mayor Balkar Singh Sandhu, Commissioner Kanwalpreet Kaur Brar, councillors Rashi Aggarwal, Mamta Ashu and other officials. Kirpal Singh of MC’s horticulture wing said they aim to plant over 3,000 saplings along the Buddha Nullah stretch under the jurisdiction of the civic body in the coming days.
