COLLEGES NOTESLudhiana: The gardening club of Khalsa College for Women, Civil Lines, celebrated the arrival of monsoon by distributing plant saplings to its students to spread the message of ‘Go Green’ for a greener and cleaner environment. Saplings and vermicompost packets were distributed among students and the staff of the college. The saplings distibuted were grown in the nursery of KCW. Navdeep Saini and Randeep Kaur, both bagged second position with 8.97 SGPA, followed by Navneet Kaur with 8.79 SGPA. Jaspreet Kaur and Afsana Begam stood ninth and 10th in the university with 87.68 per cent and 86.75 per cent, respectively..
