ibune News ServiceLudhiana, July 18The College of Animal Biotechnology, Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (GADVASU), has initiated a 20-day Swachh Bharat Summer Internship programme under the aegis of the National Service Scheme (NSS). Satyavan Rampal, director students welfare-cum estate officer, GADVASU, inaugurated the internship programme. Nidhi Sharma, welfare officer, GADVASU, said students would devote 100 hours for the internship programme. Mukhopadhyay added that during the internship programme, students would be taking part in cleaning the area, a door-to-door campaign, tree plantation, awareness drive through street-drama and wall painting on water conservation, pollution control and garbage disposal. The interns will also be visiting local schools and interacting with students to sensitise them about cleanliness and Swachh Bharat programme..
