SCHOOL NOTESLudhiana: A rich tribute was paid to Nelson Mandela, the great freedom fighter and first president of independent South Africa by the students of Green Grove. Class III A/ B showed a glimpse of life and achievements of Nelson Mandela through speeches, poems and a power point presentation. On this occasion, principal Dr Amarjeet Kaur Naaz said that the words of the students will bring awareness to the society and will come true one day. Team Ruler comprising Kavish, Harsimrat, Yatharth and Kavin was declared the winner and Team Protractor comprising Gautam, Ekam, Jaideep and Kabir was the runner up. The purpose of the competition was to instill a love for poetry and to develop recitation skills among the students..
