BalKrishan Gupta, President and BR Kaushal, secretary general of the Punjab Tax Bar Association have sent representation demanding extension in filling of all kinds of income tax returns and GSTR Form 9, 9A and 9C at least by two months and five months, respectively. BR Kaushal said the GSTR-9 does not compute the actual liability of the tax payer even after filling all the columns of the return. BalKrishan Gupta said the incessant rains wreaked havoc in at least 11 states, including Punjab and entire peninsular India. Hence, it is requested to extend the due date for filing of non-audited income tax returns..
